First launch
From download to play in three steps.
Download the installer
Save and run the Setup EXE. The installer adds the client together with its own Java 21 runtime.
Add an account
Sign in with a Microsoft account or create an offline account with your nickname.
Select an installation
Add a Vanilla or Fabric version, select a mod profile and click “Play”.

Where do the mods come from?
The built-in search uses Modrinth and matches results to the loader and Minecraft version selected for the installation.
